Two Kenya Army battalions will be stationed on the Kenya-Somali border, in a fresh attempt to counter terrorism. Kenyan National Security minister Chris Murungaru announced that they would start counter-terrorism patrols, after receiving Major General Sattler and Brigadier General Robeson (the outgoing and incoming commanders of the combined Joint Task Force in the Horn of Africa). Major-General Sattler also told reporters in Nairobi that joint training between U.S. and Kenyan troops would begin soon. - Adam Geibel
