Cyprus announced that it has postponed a map exercises with British Army units. The Greek Cypriots are concerned that wargames with the British might further jeopardize their ongoing combat exercises with the Greek Army and Air Force. The six-day Nikiforos Greek-Cypriot wargame (which includes participation by Greek military units) was scaled back in size and scope.
